Dr. Bryan Acheampong, MP for Abetifi, announced a new committee. This committee will explore the possibility of his presidential bid in the NPP.

On Thursday, May 29, he shared this news in a statement. He said the decision comes after encouragement from party members and consultations with family and friends.

The committee will engage with grassroots members and stakeholders nationwide. They aim to see if his vision matches party expectations and those of Ghanaians. The findings will be submitted within four weeks.

Dr. Acheampong emphasized the committee's commitment to unity and discipline within the Party. He also highlighted goals like job creation, food security, youth development, safety, and good governance.

Reflecting on his political journey, he called his role in the NPP “lifelong and deeply personal.”

He reaffirmed his loyalty to the NPP and expressed hope for its future.

“To our foot soldiers and all NPP faithful,” he stated, “I believe in our capacity to overcome challenges.”

He urged everyone to remain steadfast in spirit while pursuing progress for Ghana. The statement concluded with a call for divine assistance: “May God be our helper.”
