Budget will be made public but Ghanaians should know it’s expensive taking care of Black Stars —Kofi Adams

Sports Minister Kofi Adams announced that the ministry will reveal the budget for two World Cup qualifiers.

He emphasized that caring for the Black Stars is very expensive. Many players come from Europe, which adds to the costs.

Despite requests to disclose the budget before the games, he chose not to. He believed it could distract the team.

“The budget will be made available,” he stated. “There is nothing to hide, but we must recognize the high costs involved.”

Adams explained that revealing the budget might not help the team. He noted that some situations can create distractions, so careful consideration is necessary before making decisions.
