Bueman SHS cries out over unsafe roads, calls on Jasikan MCE to act

Bueman SHS Urges Jasikan MCE to Fix Dangerous School Roads

Bueman Senior High School (BUSEC) has asked the Jasikan Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for help. They want the school’s internal roads included in the township road project. The MCE has promised to advocate for these improvements.

The school is worried about safety risks for students and staff. Headmaster Frank Boamah led a visit to MCE Parke-Davis Magyigbe to discuss road upgrades. He emphasized that poor road conditions are endangering lives and disrupting daily activities.

“When it rains, moving safely between classrooms and dormitories is nearly impossible,” Boamah said. Parents share these concerns. Kofi Mensah, a parent, stated, “The government must act before a tragedy occurs.”

MCE Magyigbe praised the school's proactive approach. He committed to lobbying for better roads in the township project. “I’ve started engaging with authorities to include BUSEC’s roads,” he noted.

He also accepted an invitation to attend the upcoming SRC Week and 65th Anniversary celebration in November. Boamah expressed optimism about progress due to the MCE's commitment.

The Jasikan Municipal Assembly is consulting stakeholders on infrastructure improvements, prioritizing educational institutions. With its 65th anniversary approaching, BUSEC believes urgent upgrades are needed.

Improved roads would enhance safety and support better academic outcomes for students.
