The Centre for Democratic Movement (CDM) has made a call. They want the Mahama-led administration to start an investigation. This investigation should be transparent and non-partisan. It concerns the alleged suspicious flights that have raised public concern.
In a strong statement, CDM urged action from National Security and Civil Aviation Authorities. They asked these authorities to release all relevant flight, cargo, and clearance documents. CDM also suggested inviting parliamentary oversight and international observers if needed.
“Any hint of complicity or silence could harm Ghana’s reputation,” CDM warned. They emphasized the risk of being seen as a corridor for transnational crime.
“We must avoid any perception that could hurt investor confidence,” they added. The group stressed the importance of maintaining diplomatic ties.
CDM highlighted Parliament's constitutional role in oversight. They insisted that the nation deserves the truth, not political grandstanding.
