CDS Gen. Oppong-Peprah out, Maj. Gen. Agyapong in - Ghanaian Times

General Thomas Oppong-Peprah has retired after 39 years in the Ghana Armed Forces.

He served as Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) during his final role.

Before becoming CDS, he was the Director of Strategic Intelligence.

He also held positions in Operations and Plans, Army Training, and Peacekeeping.

A farewell parade took place yesterday at Burma Camp in Accra.

The ceremony marked the transfer of authority to Major General William Agyapong.
