CEO of NEIP supports Solomon Akugru, a survivor of the June 3 disaster

On May 29, 2025, Ghanaian blogger Kobby Kyei shared a story. It was about Solomon Akugru, a survivor of the June 3 disaster.

This tragic event happened ten years ago. For Solomon, the trauma remains vivid. He carries visible scars and unfulfilled dreams.

Kobby's post reminded us of those still affected by that day.

On June 3, 2025, exactly ten years later, Solomon was invited to an event. The CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Mr. Eric Adjei, hosted it with Kobby Kyei.

At this event, Mr. Adjei made a personal donation to Solomon. This support aims to help him start anew and find stable housing.

He provided tools for tiling skills and funding for rent. This ensures Solomon has a safe home and a mobile phone to stay connected.

Through this act, Mr. Adjei showed true leadership. He demonstrated compassion that uplifts others.

To Solomon: your courage is inspiring; your resilience teaches us all. To Kobby Kyei: thank you for amplifying unheard voices.

May this story encourage everyone to notice, care, and take action.
