CHRAJ has cleared Reverend Victor Kusi-Boateng of allegations involving dual identities and passport fraud.
This follows a petition by MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa in January 2023, accusing Rev. Kusi-Boateng, Secretary of the National Cathedral Board of Trustees, of possessing multiple passports under different names and engaging in financial misconduct.
A CHRAJ report confirms Rev. Kusi-Boateng holds only one passport under the name Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, debunking claims he was issued a passport as Kusi-Boateng.
The investigation also addressed a GH¢2.6 million transfer to JNS Talent Centre Limited, owned by Rev. Kusi-Boateng. CHRAJ found no wrongdoing, stating the funds were reimbursements for payments he made to contractors during the National Cathedral's financial struggles.
Ablakwa had labeled the situation a "conflict of interest," but CHRAJ found no evidence of fraud or dual identity.
