CHRAJ Commissioner Dr. Joseph Whittal has pledged a more aggressive fight against corruption as Ghana prepares to roll out the second phase of the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan (NACAP II).
Speaking at the launch of the NACAP I evaluation report, Dr. Whittal stressed the urgent need to tackle corruption, which he says continues to stall national development.
He assured that lessons from NACAP I will shape a stronger, more results-driven NACAP II.
Deputy Chief of Staff Nana Oye Bampoe Addo echoed these concerns, describing corruption as a threat to economic growth, human rights, and democratic values.
While acknowledging progress made by agencies like EOCO and the Office of the Special Prosecutor, officials say deeper collaboration and accountability are key to winning Ghana’s anti-corruption fight.
