Ghana’s Cabinet has approved the 2025 budget ahead of its formal presentation to Parliament by Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson on March 11.
Minister of State in charge of Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, announced the decision after a special Cabinet meeting on March 7, assuring Ghanaians that the financial plan prioritizes economic stabilization and sustainable growth under President John Mahama’s administration.
In a related development, John Jinapor revealed that Cabinet has endorsed the construction of a second gas processing plant to address Ghana’s energy challenges.
He emphasized the urgency of strengthening the country’s energy security, with additional measures approved to ensure stable power supply in the short, medium, and long term.
