Cedar Mountain Chapel celebrates AU Day with vibrant multicultural service

Cedar Mountain Chapel, Assemblies of God, celebrated African Union (AU) Day.

The event, called Cedar International Day, took place on Sunday, May 25, 2025. It was held at Cedar City on Number 1 Lagos Avenue. This celebration highlights the church's commitment to global unity and multicultural fellowship.

Many nationals from different countries in Ghana attended the event. They wore traditional attire and waved national flags. The celebration featured music, prayer, and fellowship to honor diversity.

Rev. Stephen Wengam delivered a sermon titled “Understanding Intimacy with the Holy Spirit.” He is the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana and Lead Pastor of Cedar Mountain Chapel. He encouraged believers to deepen their relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Wengam stated that understanding this intimacy allows believers to fulfill God's will on earth. He emphasized that living a Spirit-filled life requires the Holy Spirit.

Prayers were offered for peace among nations and for foreigners in Ghana. The Cedar International Day has become a key part of Cedar Mountain Chapel’s vision.

As Africa celebrates unity and progress, Cedar Mountain Chapel remains a spiritual home for all nations. The church declares that in Christ, we are truly one.
