Chairman Dollar fires back at Ernest Owusu-Bempah over comments undermining party

Eric Nartey Yeboah is the Greater Accra Regional Second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He has responded to Ernest Owusu-Bempah, the party's Deputy Communications Officer. Yeboah is upset with Owusu-Bempah's recent comments that undermine the party’s efforts.

Yeboah pointed out that Owusu-Bempah is not a member of the NPP. He expressed anger over how Owusu-Bempah's remarks have upset grassroots supporters. “If things had been done properly, individuals like him would not hold such positions,” Yeboah stated.

He also criticized former President Akufo-Addo for concentrating power within his family. This concentration, he believes, contributed to the NPP’s electoral defeat. Yeboah noted that some appointees showed arrogance and disrespected party values.

He emphasized that this disrespect led to the party's downfall in elections. The internal dispute within the NPP has sparked discussions about leadership and unity. The focus now is on restoring trust among members.

Yeboah urged party supporters to distance themselves from appointees linked to the National Democratic Congress' administration. He shared these thoughts during an interview with Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Original TV in Accra.
