Eric Nartey Yeboah is the Greater Accra Regional 2nd Vice Chairman of the NPP. He was also the former Madina Constituency Chairman. Recently, he responded to Ernest Owusu-Bempah’s comments. Owusu-Bempah is the Deputy Communications Officer of the NPP.
Yeboah expressed his anger over Owusu-Bempah's remarks. He believes these comments upset grassroots supporters of the party. He noted that Owusu-Bempah is not a card-carrying member of the NPP.
“If things had been done properly, he wouldn’t have been appointed,” Yeboah said on Original TV. He criticized how power was concentrated in former President Akufo-Addo’s hands during his administration. This concentration contributed to the NPP’s electoral defeat.
Yeboah also pointed out issues with some presidential appointments. He mentioned that certain appointees showed arrogance and disrespected party values. This behavior led to the downfall of the NPP.
The internal dispute within the NPP has sparked discussions about leadership and unity. The focus now shifts to restoring trust among party members. Yeboah urged supporters to distance themselves from appointees linked to the National Democratic Congress’ administration.
