Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, leader of Perez Chapel International, spoke about Nana Kwame Bediako. Cheddar, as he is popularly known, is the leader of the New Force. Agyinasare revealed that Bediako knew he would not win the 2024 elections.
The Archbishop told Cheddar he could not win without a political party. Bediako understood this message clearly. Despite this, it was his dream to run for president. Therefore, Agyinasare decided to pray for him.
Agyinasare mentioned that the New Force faced challenges at polling stations. He stated on Joy Prime that Bediako was running for president without a party. He said, "You can’t win an election in Ghana without a political party." However, he respected Bediako's ambition and offered his prayers.
Bediako acknowledged his lack of political experience but wanted to make history. He aimed to leave a legacy through his political journey. As an independent candidate, he received 84,478 votes in the 2024 presidential election. This placed him third overall in Ghana’s elections.
