Cheddar’s bodyguard must be arrested – Netizen declares

A netizen has called for the arrest of Cheddar's bodyguard.

Cheddar, whose real name is Nana Kwame Bediako, is a 2024 presidential candidate for New Force.

This call follows a viral video showing the bodyguard punching a man. The incident occurred at the funeral of the late Mamponghene.

The netizen posted on X, “Cheddar’s bodyguard must be arrested ????@GhPoliceService do the needful.”

In the viral video, Cheddar entered a house with his entourage. A mourner stood near the gate when the bodyguard grabbed him by the neck.

The bodyguard then punched him several times until he fell to the ground. Afterward, he followed Cheddar inside.

It remains unclear what caused this physical altercation.

Many Ghanaians reacted to the video online. One user said it looked like an agenda against Cheddar but felt police involvement was unnecessary.

Another commenter joked that this could change the man's life and suggested Cheddar might help him financially.

One netizen condemned the act as assault and advised legal action against Cheddar's bodyguard.

Another urged Nana Kwame Bediako and New Force to apologize publicly and refer the bodyguard to police immediately.
