Students of Chereponi Senior High Technical School in the North East Region have voiced concerns about the poor quality and hygiene of meals served at their cafeteria.
They claim the food is unwholesome, with cooks failing to wash utensils properly, leaving old food particles in meals.
The situation has led to health issues, with students frequently visiting the hospital for stomach pains, reportedly five to ten cases daily.
Despite complaints to management, students say no action has been taken, with authorities claiming they cannot alter food supplies provided by the government.
The headmaster, Fuseini Mohammed, denies knowledge of the complaints, but students are pleading for public intervention, especially as fears grow over a cholera outbreak in the region.
