Apostle Eric Nyamekye

As of December 2024, the Church of Pentecost is in 190 countries. This is an increase from 170 countries in 2023.

The Church reported a total membership of 4,827,074. This reflects a 6.4 percent rise from last year's 4,534,644 members.

Worldwide, there are now 3,484 ministers and 170,886 officers. This includes 55,490 Elders, 36,635 Deacons, and 78,761 Deaconesses.

Apostle Eric Nyamekye shared this information during the State of the Church Address. He spoke at the General Council Meeting on Wednesday at the Pentecost Convention Centre in Gomoa Fetteh.

The theme for the meeting was “Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling.” It gathered church leaders to discuss its state and elect new leaders.

Apostle Nyamekye noted that the Church opened 843 new assemblies and created 132 districts. He emphasized that these achievements align with their mission to spread the gospel.

“We give God praise for these accomplishments,” he said. “We aim to impact society by raising godly people.”

He mentioned various social initiatives supporting both members and the wider community. These include building boreholes, bus shelters, road repairs, and installing drainage systems.

The Church also maintains streetlights and conducts mass medical screenings. They have established food banks as well.

In terms of financial support, they spent over GHS17 million on education sponsorship. They also provided more than GHS10 million for healthcare support and over GHS1 million for apprenticeships.

Apostle Nyamekye urged Christians to pursue righteousness in all areas of life. He stated that both the Church and government should act righteously for national upliftment.

“Righteousness exalts a nation,” he added.
