Citi FM, Channel One TV strengthen ties with new NLA leadership

Management of Channel One TV and Citi 97.3 FM has pledged support for the National Lottery Authority (NLA). This commitment follows a courtesy call on the new Director-General, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam.

The delegation was led by Samuel Attah-Mensah, Managing Director of Channel One TV/Citi FM. Bernard Avle, General Manager of Citi FM/Channel One TV, also joined the visit. Other team members included Mr. Omane Mensah-Bonsu, Ms. Frema Adunyame, and Ms. Vivian Kai Lokko.

They visited the NLA head office to congratulate Mr. Abdul-Salam on his appointment. They also aimed to explore ways to strengthen media collaboration.

The visit marked a renewed partnership between both institutions. Both parties emphasized positive engagement in lottery operations.

Mr. Abdul-Salam highlighted strategic communication's role in boosting public confidence. He stressed the importance of trusted media partnerships for participation in NLA initiatives.

The meeting concluded with a commitment from both sides to deepen collaboration. They agreed to focus on public education and responsible gaming advocacy under NLA’s new leadership.
