Civil discourse and respect for all  members key to unity in our party - Bawumia to NPP

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the 2024 NPP presidential candidate. He has called for civility and respect within the party. This is crucial for achieving unity.

Dr. Bawumia spoke to party stakeholders in the Ashanti Region. He emphasized that efforts to unite the party will fail without civil discourse. Respect among members is essential.

"When your neighbor is at peace, you’ll also be at peace," he said. It’s important to speak respectfully to fellow party members.

He stressed that unity is vital for the NPP's success. Fighting and insulting each other will not lead to unity.

With internal contests approaching, he urged members to campaign respectfully. "Politics is a contest of ideas," he noted. Support candidates based on their abilities, not through negative propaganda against opponents.
