Clergy urged to use Easter to promote cleanliness, sanitation

Christian leaders are being urged to promote cleanliness during Easter.

Their influence can help change followers' behavior and mindset. This is especially important for the environment and sanitation.

Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, the Minister of Local Government, made this call yesterday in Accra. He visited several Christian institutions, including the Christian Council of Ghana and the Presbyterian Church.

These visits are part of broader consultations with faith-based organizations. The goal is to encourage national support for cleanliness and sanitation initiatives.
