Cocoa beans will be sourced responsibly and farmers – CMC

Dr. Wisdom Kofi Dogbey is the Managing Director of the Cocoa Marketing Company (CMC). He is committed to ethical cocoa sourcing and empowering farmers.

During a visit to Olam Food Ingredients Ghana Limited in Kumasi, he emphasized stronger trade relationships in Ghana’s cocoa industry.

He highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships for strengthening the sector.

“As two leading entities, we can grow our companies and help Ghana’s economy,” he said.

Dr. Dogbey urged innovation in business models to stay competitive. He called for smarter approaches to operations and transactions.

“In today’s fast-paced environment, we must enhance our products and services,” he remarked.

Raphael Yussif Amankwa is the General Manager of Cashew Business at OFI. He appreciated Dr. Dogbey's visit and assured CMC of their commitment to promoting cocoa and cashew farming.
