Former NPP parliamentary aspirant for Ablekuma Central, Collins Amoah, has dismissed allegations linking him to a GH¢800,000 fraud case, labeling them politically motivated.
He refuted claims that he conspired to defraud a businessman under the guise of settling tax obligations with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Amoah maintained that he was outside the country at the time of the alleged incident, making his involvement impossible.
He also questioned why a businessman would bypass the GRA’s official payment system, hinting at a deliberate attempt to tarnish his reputation.
Assuring his supporters of his innocence, he vowed to clear his name.
The case is set for a hearing on February 3, 2025.
