The committee set up by President John Dramani Mahama begins today.
It will investigate three petitions against Chief Justice Gertrude Torkorno.
The five-member committee is chaired by Justice Gabriel Scott Pwamang.
He is a Justice of the Supreme Court.
The President established the committee under Article 146 (6) of the 1992 Constitution.
This was done in consultation with the Council of State.
A prima facie case was determined against the Chief Justice.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Spokesperson and Minister of Government Communications, issued a statement in Accra yesterday.
The committee will meet three times each week.
They will present their recommendations to the President after completing their work.
