Confess your sins to a Roman Father – Edudzi Tameklo tells Godfred Dame

Godwin Edudzi Tameklo is the acting CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA). He has advised former Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame to confess his sins. Tameklo suggested that Dame should speak to a Roman Father for forgiveness.

Tameklo accused Dame of plotting to jail current Finance Minister Ato Forson. He shared these details on TV3 Key Points. “Godfred Awuah Dame should confess and seek forgiveness,” he said. “You don’t know the conspiracy he built against Ato Forson.”

Tameklo emphasized that such actions should never happen again. He stated, “I don’t care if you are NPP or NDC.” He explained that their rules require representation for everyone, as long as it follows the guidelines.

He also mentioned a recent Bar Council meeting about Godfred's participation in a conference. The council was divided on whether he should speak at the event in Kumasi. Some members felt he needed to apologize due to past controversies involving Richard Jakpa.

Meanwhile, Godfred Yeboah Dame faces allegations of unprofessional conduct. A private citizen, Daniel Kwame Ofosu-Appiah, filed a complaint with the General Legal Council. This complaint relates to Dame’s actions in the Republic v. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson case.

The citizen claims that Dame violated legal principles by attempting to coerce evidence from Richard Jakpa, who is involved in the case.
