The Koforidua Court of Appeal has directed that court processes be served on former Hohoe MP John-Peter Amewu through substituted service.
The documents will be posted on the notice boards of the Koforidua Court of Appeal, Hohoe High Court, Ho High Court, and at Mr. Amewu’s residence in Hohoe.
The case, set for hearing on March 19, 2025, stems from a petition filed by five Santrokofi, Akpafu, Lolobi, and Likpe (SALL) residents seeking to nullify Amewu’s election over their exclusion from voting.
Their initial challenge was dismissed in July 2024 for lack of jurisdiction.
Meanwhile, tensions flared as NPP members clashed with an NDC communicator accused of filming them after the court order was executed.
