Court to examine disclosures in James Gyakye Quayson trial - Ghanaian Times

The Accra High Court will review new disclosures in the trial of James Gyakye Quayson. He is the Member of Parliament for Assin North in the Central Region.

The prosecution informed the court about these new disclosures. Justice Mary Maame Ekua Yanzuh is presiding over the case.

Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata represents Mr. Quayson. He confirmed they received the disclosures but stated, “we take the view that it is of no effect to us.”

Mr. Quayson faces five charges. These include deceit of a public officer and forgery of travel documents. He is also charged with making a false statutory declaration, perjury, and false declaration for office.
