Curfew on Sampa Township renewed

The Interior Ministry has announced new curfew hours for Sampa Township.

This is located in the Jaman North District of the Bono Region.

The curfew will run from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am each day.

It takes effect on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

The statement encourages local leaders and residents to remain calm.

They should use peaceful methods to express their grievances.

This will help maintain peace in the area.

Additionally, there is a total ban on carrying weapons in Sampa Township.

No one may carry arms, ammunition, or offensive weapons.

Anyone found with such items will be arrested and prosecuted.
