Cynthia Morrison advises Ghanaian women to diversify their skills to build wealth

Cynthia Morrison, former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, encourages Ghanaian women to gain multiple skills. This will help them achieve economic independence in today's fast-changing world.

In an interview with Sweetie Aborchie on JoyNews, she emphasized that relying on one skill can limit growth. "Never limit yourself to just one skill," she advised.

Morrison noted that the world is evolving quickly. Women need to be ready to adapt to these changes.

She shared her own experiences of balancing politics, entrepreneurship, and education management. "I don't separate myself from hands-on work," she said.

Recently, she prepared waakye and shito while managing her responsibilities. She oversees several educational institutions and is looking to expand further.

"I run my schools and plan to establish a third school focused on vocational training," she explained.

Morrison believes that developing diverse skills creates alternative income streams. This approach builds resilience against economic uncertainties.
