Cyra Pamela Koranteng resigns as Judicial Secretary, deputy elevated

Her Ladyship Cyra Pamela Koranteng has resigned as Judicial Secretary.

The Judicial Council accepted her decision during its 291st meeting. This meeting took place on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Following her resignation, Acting Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie appointed Dr. Cyracus Badinye Bapuuroh. He will serve as acting Judicial Secretary until a permanent appointment is made.

In a memorandum dated April 24, Justice Baffoe-Bonnie instructed Dr. Bapuuroh to start his duties immediately.

The memo stated, “You are hereby directed to assume the duties of Judicial Secretary pending a decision by the Judicial Council.”

It also informed members of the Judiciary and the public about this change.
