‘Dare not change Bagbin’ – NDC Professionals Forum to MPs

The National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s Professionals Forum has strongly advocated for Alban Bagbin to remain Speaker of Parliament in the upcoming ninth Parliament.

During an honorary ceremony in Parliament on Saturday, the Forum's President, Sam Pee Yalley, lauded Bagbin’s leadership, emphasizing his alignment with NDC principles and commitment to strengthening parliamentary institutions.

Yalley highlighted Bagbin’s pivotal role as a bridge between the NDC and Parliament, underscoring his dedication to institutional growth and democratic governance.

Calling on NDC Members of Parliament to support Bagbin’s retention, Yalley stressed, “We dare say our MPs should not make a mistake in changing you. Our research and connection with grassroots sentiments affirm your continued necessity in this one-sided Parliament.”
