Dead body found in Abelenkpe: Police appeal for help identifying deceased

The Ghana Police Service is seeking public assistance. They need help identifying a man found dead in Abelenkpe. This discovery occurred early on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Police confirmed the body of an adult male was found around 6:30 a.m. He is believed to be in his forties. At the time, he had no identification on him.

Authorities suspect the deceased may have been a taxi driver. He is described as dark-skinned and about 6 feet 4 inches tall. He has black hair and a shaved beard.

He was wearing a red T-shirt with black and white designs. His outfit included khaki trousers, pink boxer shorts, and white socks.

The Accra Regional Police Command urges anyone who recognizes him to come forward. They request that relatives or anyone with information contact the Kotobabi Police Station or other police commands.

For assistance, they provided two phone numbers: 0264162980 and 0244992201. The police emphasize that their investigation is ongoing and they need public cooperation to identify the deceased and understand his death's circumstances.
