Declare your assets – Sulemana Braimah tells Mahama appointees

Sulemana Braimah, Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), has called on appointees of President John Dramani Mahama to promptly declare their assets.

Highlighting previous instances of non-compliance, Braimah emphasized the importance of transparency in governance through a post on X.

Similarly, Benjamin Boakye, Executive Director of the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP), underscored the need for vigilance in monitoring the actions of Mahama’s appointees.

Reacting to the vetting of Finance Minister-designate Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Energy Minister-designate John Jinapor, and Attorney-General nominee Dr. Dominic Ayine, Boakye reminded the nominees of their critical responsibility to address fiscal challenges and uphold good governance.
