‘Deepen collaboration for youth empowerment, through ECOWAS’

Mr. George Opare Addo is the Minister of Youth Development and Empowerment. He called on stakeholders to work together for youth empowerment. This collaboration should focus on human capital development through ECOWAS.

He emphasized that teamwork can lead to sustainable solutions for youth development. All youth initiatives must be accessible to everyone, regardless of gender or ethnicity. Equity is essential at all levels of progress.

Mr. Addo spoke at the opening of the ECOWAS Human Capital Development Youth Conference in Accra. He noted that young people are the largest demographic in the ECOWAS region. Investing in them is a moral obligation and a key strategy for sustainable development and economic growth.
