The National House of Chiefs has urged Ghanaians to uphold democracy and avoid electoral manipulation, violence, and media coercion as the 2024 elections draw near.
Highlighting the importance of free and fair elections, the Chiefs called on citizens to respect the rule of law and protect electoral integrity.
Registrar Anthony Yeboah Tabiri emphasized Ghana’s reputation as West Africa’s democratic beacon and reminded the Electoral Commission and related agencies to act impartially.
