Dennis Miracles calls out Prof Gyampo over his silence on galamsey

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, a member of the New Patriotic Party's communications team, criticized the CEO of the Shippers Authority. He questioned why the CEO has remained silent on illegal mining since the NDC took power.

Aboagye compared this silence to Prof Ransford Gyampo's previous criticism of galamsey. He believes Gyampo should speak out against illegal mining now.

He recalled how Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia faced pressure from Gyampo before the 2024 election. Gyampo threatened to make Bawumia sign an undertaking.

Now that Gyampo holds a government position, he has stopped speaking out. Aboagye challenged him to take action and call out the president.

He expressed shock that those who once spoke up are now quiet. Illegal mining is increasing under this government, according to Aboagye.
