The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) has raised concerns over the alleged illegal demolition of its bungalows at Weija by Deputy Minister for Information, Hon. Sylvester Tetteh, also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro.
According to a statement from GBC on their X platform (formerly Twitter), the demolition was halted by the police, who intervened to prevent further damage.
GBC emphasized that no lawmaker should be seen violating the law, with a stern reminder that leadership requires adherence to legal standards.
A video of the incident, circulating online, has sparked debate on the conduct of public officials and their accountability in governance.
The situation remains under scrutiny as investigations continue.
