Deputy Lands and Natural Resources Minister donates equipment to Bole Health Directorate

The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, has made a donation. He is also the Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency in the Savannah Region.

He donated 10 modern hospital beds and 10 mattresses to the Bole District Health Directorate. These will be distributed to various health centers in the district.

In an interview with Class 91.3 FM, he noted a lack of beds in many facilities. As the MP, he decided to purchase these beds for local health centers.

The targeted facilities include Seripe 1, Sakpa 1, Mandari 2, Chache 1, Tinga 2, Kabilma 1, Dakurpe 1, and Bole Mempeasem.

Before the upcoming election in 2024, he also donated six motorbikes to the Health Directorate. These will help facilities that need transportation for their operations.

Alhaji Yusif Sulemana praised the staff at various health facilities for their hard work. He promised that improvements would come soon to the health sector in his constituency.

He recently met with Prof. Dr. Samuel Kaba Akoriyea from Ghana Health Service. They discussed challenges faced by local health facilities and how to resolve them.

Ndapewurche Hajia Fuseina Sulemana, the Bole District Director of Health, expressed gratitude for his support. She thanked him for helping address some challenges faced by local facilities.
