‘Distribute resources equally to Day, Boarding schools’

The Bishop of the Accra Diocese of the Methodist Church, Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel Nii Onmai Ollennu, has made a request. He wants the government to distribute resources equally between Day and Boarding Senior High Schools.

He explained that more resources have gone to boarding schools under the Free SHS policy. This has caused increased enrolment and overcrowding in boarding schools compared to day schools.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Ollennu shared these thoughts at the 64th Annual Synod of the Accra Diocese. The event took place at Nazareth Methodist Church in Accra on Thursday.

The theme for this year's synod was “Discipleship: Growing into Christian Maturity.”
