“Does he take Red?” – Netizen shockingly quizzes Bawumia over recent comment

A netizen recently questioned Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President and NPP flagbearer for 2024. The question followed his comment about Ghanaians wanting the NPP back in 2028.

The netizen wrote on X, “Does he take Red?” Dr. Bawumia believes that Ghanaians will eventually recognize the good work of Akufo-Addo and the NPP.

During a party event in the Eastern Region, Dr. Bawumia said Nana Akufo-Addo is not as popular now. However, he believes people will appreciate his contributions over time.

He stated that by 2028, Ghanaians will call for the NPP to rescue them. He encouraged party members to stay united and strengthen their efforts for 2024.

In related news, Bryan Acheampong from Abetifi Constituency announced his candidacy for the NPP flagbearership in 2028. Other candidates include Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Agyapong, and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

Former MP Andy Appiah-Kubi praised Bryan Acheampong as a strong candidate for the NPP leadership. He emphasized the need for a revitalizing leader to win in 2028.
