Former Auditor-General and Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team member, Daniel Yao Domelevo, has urged Ghanaians to remain patient regarding demands for immediate prosecutions following the submission of the ORAL report to the President.
Speaking on Channel One Newsroom, Domelevo clarified that the report’s primary purpose was to gather information, not to trigger immediate arrests. He stressed the importance of due process, including legal and financial reviews, before prosecutions can commence.
He revealed ongoing discussions with the Attorney General, emphasizing the need for a value-for-money audit before any legal action.
Domelevo called for public patience to ensure a thorough, lawful process, warning that rushing prosecutions could lead to setbacks in court.
