Former Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul has praised the Ghana Armed Forces for their dedication and loyalty, stating that they understand the nation’s financial situation and the government's efforts to meet their needs.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Nitiwul dismissed fears of a coup, arguing that Ghana’s military remains committed to national stability despite economic challenges.

He contrasted Ghana’s situation with countries like Burkina Faso, Guinea, and Mali, where coups have occurred despite media freedom.

According to him, the military acknowledges that while accommodation and other logistical issues exist, the government is doing its best, and they remain steadfast in their duty to protect the country.
