Stephen Atubiga, a former member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has shared advice. He urges supporters of Kennedy Agyapong and Dr. Bawumia to show restraint.
Atubiga believes they should not burn bridges over candidate loyalty. He thinks anything can happen in politics.
In a social media post, he stated, “Bawumia and Kennedy supporters should know that these two may end up as a candidate and a vice. Making you all look stupid. Nobody should die in politics.”
The race for the New Patriotic Party's flagbearership is heating up. Kennedy Agyapong has announced his intention to run for the position.
The party has not yet set a date for the contest. However, many believe it will occur before other internal elections due to proposed constitutional amendments.
Social media is buzzing with messages from both camps promoting their candidates. This follows Bawumia's failure to break the eight in the 2024 elections.
