Franklin Cudjoe is the president of Policy Think Tank Imani Africa. He has urged the National Democratic Congress to stay focused.
Cudjoe believes they should retrieve stolen money from the previous government. He claims there are many alleged economic crimes to address.
He mentioned, “An apology was rendered to Dr. Addison the same day as the raid.” He emphasized the need for caution in their approach.
Cudjoe stated, “We all want accountability, retrieval, and retribution.” He noted that mistakes must be minimized by the current government.
He added that retrieving funds may take 5 to 6 years in some cases. Cudjoe concluded with a hopeful message for the week ahead.
The current government is investigating financial crimes linked to the previous administration. The Attorney General will soon brief the media on these investigations. They will also discuss how they are handling documents from the ORAL Committee.
