Don’t attack the media when you disagree with them, use civil means – Omane Boamah

Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, NDC's Director of Elections and IT, has called for collective efforts to protect media freedom, emphasizing its importance for Ghana's democracy.

Speaking at JoyNews’ National Dialogue on Media Freedom, he urged people to handle disagreements with the media through dialogue or rejoinders, rather than attacking journalists.

Dr. Boamah also encouraged the media to hold accountable those who mistreat press members, stressing that defending media freedom is crucial for everyone’s safety and democracy.
