The Director of Communications at the Bank of Ghana, Mr. Bernard Otabil, has issued a warning. He cautioned journalists and the media against treating Central Bank stories as propaganda.
Mr. Otabil stated that such practices harm investor confidence. They also have serious implications for the economy.
He shared this message during a two-day training workshop in Tarkoradi. The workshop was organized by the BoG for journalists from the Western and Western North regions.
It concluded last Wednesday. This training is part of the bank’s efforts to ensure accurate reporting on economic issues and monetary policy decisions.
