Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong honoured as Outstanding citizen at the Georgia State Capitol

Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, President of Ɔdadeɛ Global, received an honor on April 14. He was named an Outstanding Citizen of Georgia, USA.

The event took place at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta. Legislators, business leaders, and members of the African diaspora attended to celebrate Dr. Ofori Sarpong’s contributions to business and philanthropy.

Segun Adeyina, leader of the Georgia State Representatives, presented the award. This occurred during the “Africa Speaks” forum. The forum was organized by the Georgia Africa Legislative Caucus and the Ghana International Chamber of Commerce (GHICC).

The event focused on world affairs and business development. It also discussed how policy shapes global progress.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger signed a proclamation for Dr. Ofori Sarpong. He was recognized for his entrepreneurial impact in Ghana and beyond. He also serves as a goodwill ambassador for Georgia worldwide.

The proclamation stated that he should receive every courtesy as a Goodwill Ambassador during his travels.

The Georgia House of Representatives honored Dr. Ofori Sarpong with a formal resolution. This resolution detailed his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a global icon. His ventures include Sarpong Ventures and the Special Group of Companies.

These businesses have had a transformative impact on society. The resolution also noted his role as co-founder of Best Point Savings and Loans.
