Dr. Nick Danso Adjei honored with Lifetime Africa Achievement Prize at 2025 Millennium Excellence Awards

Dr. Nick Danso Adjei, a well-known Ghanaian industrialist, has received a prestigious award. He was honored with the Lifetime Africa Achievement Prize at the Millennium Excellence Awards 2025. The event took place at Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

As the Executive Chairman of Ghana Link Network Services Ltd, Dr. Adjei has made significant contributions to trade facilitation. He implemented the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS). This system has improved operational efficiencies at Ghana's ports and borders.

Dr. Adjei is also active in the energy sector. His work aims to diversify Ghana’s economy and create sustainable growth opportunities. Through his companies, he has provided jobs for many young Ghanaians.

After receiving his award, Dr. Adjei expressed his joy in employing people. He stated that such recognition motivates him to contribute more to Ghana's development. He plans to complete his cement factory this year.

He credited his family, friends, and hometown for their support. They have been key motivators behind his success.

The Millennium Excellence Awards are held every five years under the patronage of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene. Since its first ceremony in 2000, it has recognized over 100 individuals and institutions.
