EC has eroded the last bit of trust we had in them – Omane Boamah

Dr. Omane Boamah, the NDC's Director of Elections and IT, has expressed deep mistrust in the Electoral Commission (EC), accusing it of lacking transparency in handling the provisional voters' register.

Speaking on JoyNews' Newsfile, Dr. Boamah criticized the EC for not allowing a forensic audit or a re-exhibition of the voters' register, despite the NDC's requests.

He also said the EC had failed to provide updated information after the NDC submitted a hard drive for data.

In contrast, EC Deputy Chair Dr. Bossman Asare claimed the Commission had resolved all discrepancies and urged the NDC to provide evidence of remaining issues.
