EC to mount campaign platforms for Nkoranza North, South District elections

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced plans for campaign platforms. These platforms are for candidates in the upcoming District Level elections. They will also serve candidates in by-elections for Nkoranza North and Nkoranza South.

The elections are set for Tuesday, May 13, 2025. The platform mounting will occur from Friday, May 9 to Sunday, May 11, 2025.

The EC plans to set up at least one platform in every electoral area. This initiative aims to give candidates a fair space to present their manifestos. It will also allow them to engage with voters and answer questions.

“The Platform Mounting will help voters assess each candidate’s suitability,” the EC stated.

Additionally, the Commission urged candidates and supporters to campaign peacefully. They warned against using threats or intimidation to influence voters. Such actions are considered election offences and will not be tolerated.
