ECG assures customers of power restoration after rainstorm

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is working to restore power.

On Tuesday, March 25, a severe rainstorm caused outages in parts of Accra.

In a statement on March 26, ECG explained the situation.

They said the storm damaged sections of their network. This led to electrical faults and service interruptions.

ECG informed customers about the outages caused by the heavy rainstorm.

They noted that it affected areas in Accra and nearby regions.

A team of engineers has been sent to assess the damage.

They will carry out necessary repairs to restore power quickly.
