Easter Orphan Project: Citi FM and Channel One TV donate GHC50k, assorted items to BASCO

Citi FM and Channel One TV have donated GHC50,000 to BASCO. They also provided essential supplies to the Baptist School Complex and Orphanage in Trotor. This donation supports vulnerable children in the Eastern Region.

The donation is part of their annual Easter Orphan Project. This project aims to bring hope to orphans and underprivileged children across Ghana. Staff from both stations visited BASCO to present the donation.

They spent time interacting with the children and caretakers. The donated items included rice, cooking oil, toiletries, clothing, drinks, and learning materials. These supplies will help meet the daily needs of the children.

The GHC50,000 will support the orphanage's upkeep and educational development. During the presentation on April 21, Bernard Avle spoke about the importance of giving back. He thanked listeners, viewers, and sponsors for their contributions.

Avle urged others to support orphanages and vulnerable groups as well. The management of BASCO expressed gratitude for this timely intervention. They believe it will significantly improve the children's welfare.

Over the years, the Easter Orphan Project has become a key initiative for Citi FM and Channel One TV. It has positively impacted hundreds of children across Ghana.
